OMAR ALCAIDE QUINTET

Son and nephew of musicians, Omar Alcaide has lived immersed in a world of music from an early age. Still only 18 years old, he is already performing with some of the great names of jazz in Spain. He comes to the Fringe Festival Torroella de Montgrí-L'Estartit with a new quintet which will have the modernising effect of merging jazz with hip hop, modern jazz and rhythm & blues – playing both original themes and new arrangements.
