The Dutch artist Stochelo Rosenberg is world famous for his gypsy jazz and is one of the world’s best guitarists, with a brilliant technique, a distinctive vibrato, an exuberant imagination and a compositional talent in the line of the mythical Django Reinhardt. Rosenberg is an unconditional admirer of Reinhardt and plays the same make of guitar, an acoustic Selmer. He comes to the Jazz Festival l'Estartit with the trio of Majorcan guitarist Biel Ballester, with whom he recorded the double album Melodium Melodynamic in 2016.
