Sketches overseas (Outside in Music)

After studying at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), the saxophonist and composer Lluc Casares (b. 1990) moved to New York two years ago to join the Artist Diploma programme at the department of jazz directed by Winton Marsalis at the renowned Julliard School. While in New York, Casares recorded Sketches overseas, his second album as leader.

Sketches overseas (Outside in Music) has been awarded the Enderrock Prize for the best jazz album.
