ENRICO RAVA NEW QUARTET

Enrico Rava is the best known of Italian jazz musicians, a living legend who began on piano and trombone before changing to the trumpet after hearing Miles Davis play in concert in 1956. Rava has performed all manner of styles in the course of his career, from free to orthodox jazz, taking in electronics on the way. At 78, he is still a tireless performer on stage: playing music makes him happy.
