Canciones de Camastro y Cuna. Primeros Veranos de Lorca is a double album that emerges from a dream of the pianist and singer Bru Ferri, in which he set to music poems by Lorca included in a songbook that the poet had recently written entitled Canciones de Camastro y Cuna (Bedtime and Cradle Songs). Based on this dream and the poet's youthful poems written between the summers of 1918 and 1919, Ferri proposes a journey through singer-songwriters' songs, flamenco fusion, jazz and classical music. Bru Ferri is a pianist, singer, composer and improviser. He trained in jazz piano, classical piano, jazz singing, lyrical singing, composition and improvisation at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu and at the Taller de Músics. His style, which is hard to categorise, is influenced by impressionist and minimalist composers, flamenco, popular music, jazz and electronic music, with extensive research into poetry set to music.
