With this programme, Violeta Alarcón wishes to pay tribute to her singing teacher, the soprano Carmen Bustamante, who, in addition to being a teacher, was admired by many composers who entrusted her with the premiere of their works. The programme aims to give a faithful portrait of her artistic personality through a selection of the works that have marked and defined her career, as well as the pieces that the soprano herself has chosen as her favourites and essential works. Born in Barcelona, Violeta Alarcón won the second prize at the Concurs de Joventuts Musicals d'Espanya in 2023 and received the first prize ex aequo at the 11th Germans Pla-Ciutat de Balaguer International Song Competition.
