The Ensemble DAI Contemporain is made up of four students from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, who have obtained the Diplôme d’Artiste Interprète (DAI) in contemporary music on an advanced course specialising in music after the Second World War together with study of present-day compositions. Students on this course receive advanced technical training and musical tuition that enables them to approach performance of contemporary music from a variety of perspectives. They will demonstrate their talent at the Fringe Festival Torroella-l'Estartit with a programme of works from the 20th and 21st centuries.
