Ramon Humet: Missa Custoditus ab ira mundi (premiere). Under commission from the Torroella de Montgrí Festival

In 2022 we chose a slogan for the Festival: Sheltered from the Fury of the World. We were emerging from a pandemic, but tragedies continued to unfold: wars, the devastating effects of climate change, crisis after crisis and a real risk of our hopes being dashed. Two years later, nothing has changed; on the contrary, every day that goes by we have more and more need to distance ourselves from the thunderous noise of this angry world. At the Torroella de Montgrí Festival we claim that hope is still possible and, in spite of the world's fury, we invite you to the premiere of the Missa Custoditus ab ira mundi that the Festival has commissioned to the composer Ramon Humet, and with which we will close this 44^th edition.
