Caravana is the fifth album released by the double bass player Martín Leiton as leader of his quartet. After several years of playing together, they continue to consolidate their personal project with its unique sound. Drawing from jazz and Latin American folklore, in his latest album, Martín Leiton combines the influence of great jazz masters such as Thelonious Monk, Wayne Shorter or Duke Ellington, with personal inspiration from Latin American music and the whirlwind of Gnawa and Tuareg rhythms and melodies.
