Jonah Smith is a renowned American pianist and singer-songwriter whose music takes its inspiration from the deepest blues and its derivatives, as well as soul, country and folk. Accompanied by the Catalan guitarist David Soler ans Paula Valls, he comes to the Jazz Festival l'Estartit with themes from his latest disc, Stay Close, a collection of songs that speak of love, social criticism, philosophy and life experience.
