A decade after the publication of Mare Nostrum, the exceptional recording of pan-European jazz by Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu, French accordionist Richard Galliano and Swedish pianist Jan Lundgren, the trio has reunited to compose a new collection of themes, Mare Nostrum II, gentle, reflexive music with flashes of pure elation which cradle the ear with waves of sound.
