Joan Pérez-Villegas: Tres juegos para tres niños / Jordi Cornudella Heras: Antekha trio

Fresh, accessible contemporary music, conceived and created from the present, played and lived by musicians who have taken the same journey, listened to and experienced by people who have followed the same path. In this concert, the Trio Capmany, formed in 2019, eschews the usual repertoire for reed trios to offer unpublished works that they themselves have commissioned and premiered. In Tres juegos para tres niños, Joan Pérez-Villegas regales us with a playful composition in which the trio engages in a joyful, carefree dialogue. And in Antekha trio by Jordi Cornudella, divided into three parts, we are told a timeless story of a sacrifice that leads to a tragic, vibrant ending.
