A story of passion for music and a journey to discover one of the best pianists of the 20th century: Alicia de Larrocha. "Las manos de Alicia" is the human and artistic portrait of Alicia de Larrocha (1923-2009), of a life devoted to study and musical improvement, a task recognised with a multitude of awards that have never distracted her from her overriding goal: to play the scores with the utmost rigour and accuracy. Internationally renowned figures such as Joaquín Achúcarro, André Previn, Maria João Pires or Martha Argerich speak of her technique, her passion and the reasons why she was considered one of the best pianists of the 20th century. This is the story of an artist with small hands, internationally admired and loved, a story of passion for music and a journey on the power of wanting, to uncover the woman behind the pianist.
