In this concert, the Ensemble O Vos Omnes transforms the history of music into the music of history. In 1532, the Dutch composer Jean Richafort wrote a Requiem in memory of his master, Josquin Des Prez, one of the most important Renaissance composers. The latter had also written a great work in memory of his own mentor, Johannes Ockeghem, who had also created a work in honour of the man who had taught him the art of musical creation, Gilles Binchois. The lives of these four composers have a musical link, a story not written in words, but in sounds that have travelled to the present day.
