Meaning My land in Syriac, Athrodeel is the title of the concert given by Ahmad Diab and Aseel Massoud, a Syrian couple (he a guitarist in love with flamenco and she a singer and doctor) who came to Barcelona at the beginning of the last decade fleeing the war and looking for somewhere where they could learn flamenco. Ahmad Diab and Aseel Massoud form a duo in which they show the richness of their country's culture and music, fusing East and West with modern versions using voice and guitar.
