Johann Christian Bach: Magnificat in C major, CW E22 / Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach: Symphony in B flat major, H. 658 / Johann Sebastian Bach: Magnificat in D major, BWV 243

The Jove Orquestra and the Cor Nacional de Catalunya have prepared a programme dedicated to the Bach family for their summer concert: Johann Sebastian, who will close the concert with one of his great vocal works, the Magnificat in D major, BWV 243, and two of his sons, the youngest, Johann Christian, who will open the concert with his Magnificat in C major, and Carl Philipp Emanuel, the second son, whose Symphony in B flat major we will listen to.
