Joaquín Achúcarro will be 90 on 1 November this year. To commemorate achieving this major milestone in his long career, Achúcarro is currently on a celebratory international tour that will take him this August to Torroella de Montgrí. Performing at Torroella since the 13th Festival, on this occasion he will offer a concert with two sonatas from two of his favourite composers, Mozart and Chopin, and three famous transcriptions of Bach works for piano. We are all looking forward to celebrating the maestro’s 90th birthday.
