Delphine Galou is gifted with a distinctive, velvet-toned contralto voice and is admired for her excellent musicianship. Her programme today will bring us extracts from oratorios and motets from the Italian baroque, displaying strong influences from the world of opera. On this journey through musical affetti, Galou will be accompanied by the Accademia Bizantina directed by Ottavio Dantone, who return to the Torroella Festival after their last visit in 2010.
