Aýna o la épica 

About this event

HumanFields is a spoken word duet which aims organically to combine poetry and music. From a cinematographic point of view, the duet aims to suggest atmospheres and images which enable the listener, by means of the support offered by the words and music, to construct an emotional story and make it his own. At the Fringe, HumanFields will present their disc Aýna o la épica de la cordura, which consists of two parts – Higiene Emocional and Alteración de la Conciencia. The first part is based on the epic of post-rock and makes use of the practices of the Greeks cited by Foucault in his Technologies of the Self. These include creation, meditation, attention to dreams, physical exercise and acupuncture. The dimensions and intensity of post-rock reflect the effort and dedication demanded by these habits. In Alteración de la Consciencia the same themes are dealt with, but from the point of view of alienation.
