Wataru Hisasue was born in Japan and began his piano studies at an early age in his home country. He has completed further studies in Europe, where he has been awarded several important prizes. This has enabled him to record two discs, the last of which has just recently appeared on the market. Despite his youth (he is 23 years old), Hisasue has performed in many concert halls in Europe and Japan. He comes to the Fringe with two concert programmes for virtuoso piano.
