About this event

Founded in 2014 at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, the Trío Ramales takes its name from the Plaza Ramales, a square in the centre of Madrid, close by the music school, the Palacio Real and the Teatro Real. The trio has been awarded many prizes and come to the Fringe with a programme that reflects their musical interests, which range from the classical period to works by 20th century composers, music of Spanish origin and contemporary pieces. As an example of the latter, their Fringe concert will include the Piano Trio, Op. 3 by the young violinist and composer, member of the ensemble, the 20-year-old Pablo Díaz, from the Canary Islands.
