10pm - Albert Sanz Trio

The virtuoso Valencian pianist Albert Sanz has teamed up with the famed bassist Javier Colina and the legendary Al Foster, drummer for Miles Davis, to present O que será, their joint recording project that re-creates music by Chico Buarque, Ivan Lins, Antonio Carlos Jobin and Duke Ellington. An evening of jazz fused with Brazilian rhythms. 

8.30pm - Gabriel Amargant Quintet

Gabriel Amargant is an outstanding member of the new generation of Catalan jazz musicians and has consolidated his reputation as a saxophonist with his second disc And Now for Something Completely Different, which was awarded the Enderrock Prize 2016 for the best jazz album. The disc contains a collection of seven original numbers that Amargant will perform at the Jazz Festival l'Estartit-Costa Brava. He will be accompanied by his quintet, a group of musicians with their own strong personalities that habitually accompany him on stage.
