The renowned Italian ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, with their founder and director, the flautist Giovanni Antonini, return to the Torroella Festival to take us on a tour of European instrumental music of the 16th. and 17th. centuries. The title of the concert is taken from the anonymous Italian pavan “La morte de la ragione” and the music is sourced from collections of Renaissance dances and instrumental pieces from the beginning of the Seicento.
