About this event

Balance, unity and clarity are the characteristics of musical classicism featured in the programme of this concert by the Acadèmia 1750. The two greatest composers of the period, Haydn and Mozart, each contribute a youthful, buoyant violin concerto which will be performed by one of the greatest experts in the baroque and classical periods, the Italian violinist Giuliano Carmignola. There are also two symphonies, one exemplifying the classicism of Haydn, while the other, by Schubert, displays classical influences in its clarity, simplicity of line and optimistic melodic character.
