About this event

Chamber music at the state level is being particularly prolific in recent years with regards to piano trios, violin and cello, classical Klavier Trio. One of the most prominent emerging groups in this regard is the Trio Lorca, comprising violinist Elena Rey Catalan, American cellist and pianist Erica Wise Noelia Rodiles Asturias. In his program for the Network offer a fascinating journey through the history of piano trios from its creator -Haydn- passing romanticism of Mendelssohn, up to our time with Wolfgang Rihm.

Biography

The Trio Lorca was born in 2008 as Mozart Trio Deloitte, sheltered from the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid, where he worked under the tutelage of Luis Fernando Perez and Marta Gulyas. It has also received lessons Menahem Pressler of the Beaux Arts Trio- -pianista Ferenc Rados, Bruno Canino and Claudio Martinez Mehner, among others. Gets the First Prize of Chamber Music Competition "Ciudad de Manresa" and, since 2009, is awarded to Bilbao with the First Prize Contest Permanent Young Performers Musical Youth of Spain. In his tour of the Escuela Reina Sofia was named the most outstanding group of chair of chamber music.

He has performed in some of the most prominent concert halls of Spain, such as the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, the Barcelona Auditorium, Girona Auditorium, Labour Gijon, Theatres Canal Madrid, Juan March Foundation, etc., as well as Rooms Tunisia, Italy and Jordan. He has participated in summer courses in Santander and festivals such as the Festival Internacional de Música y Danza de Granada, the Schubertiade Vilabertran, Caprichos Musicales de Comillas "Musicians of the World" Leon, the Festival of Young Virtuosos Tunis and the Festival Dino Cianni Cortina d'Ampezzo. He has taken part in circuits like "Clásicos en route" of AIE and Plan of Musical Youth Concert of Spain. In 2011 he became the first artist in residence in the Auditorium of the Ateneo de Banyoles (Girona), a series of three monographic concerts and educational activities and information which led to a parallel experience applauded by critics and well received by the public. His concerts have been broadcast on radio stations and music Catalonia Spanish National Radio - Radio Clásica. The recording of his inaugural concert season of the popular music and Heritage Plan of the lake (Girona), with works by Haydn, Schubert and Beethoven, was selected by Catalonia to enter the music exchange program of the European Broadcasting Union .
