About this event

Anna Prohaska is one of the most radiant lyric sopranos of her generation. She possesses a voice of great clarity, warmth and versatility, and is exceptional both for her vivid performances on stage and her wide repertoire covering more than four centuries, from Monteverdi to present-day composers. In her first concert at the Torroella Festival, she will take us on a voyage of discovery, singing a number of rarely performed arias from the baroque period.
