The Floating House. Music by Xavier Montsalvatge and Claude Debussy
Noè is a little girl who lives in a lonely desert area. She had never seen rain and thought that if it ever came, it would be in a variety of colours – red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, and so on. But one day the heavens opened, because men had stopped caring for the Earth, and it didn’t stop raining. A coloured fish asks Noè to build a floating house to preserve all the different species of animals. There will be new life after the flood.
The Floating House is a staged musical story in which sound and image complement each other and speak to the emotions.
