Joaquín Achúcarro returns to Torroella for another of his annual visits, and this time it is a special occasion, as 2014 is the 25th anniversary of his first appearance at the Festival. He gave the opening concert at the 10th Festival, on 7 July, 1990, returned in 1993, and since then has never missed a year. Joventuts Musicals de Torroella, the Festival organisers, rewarded his faithful support last year by making him an honorary member. To celebrate the anniversary, Achúcarro will regale us with a varied feast of works by Bach, Brahms, Ernesto Halffter, Mompou, Falla and Chopin.
