Jordi Savall returns to the Torroella Festival, at which he last performed in 2002. On this occasion he will take us on a journey through the golden age of music for consort of viols, works composed before 1700 and which hail from Renaissance Venice, Elizabethan England, Spain, Germany and the court of French king Louis XIII. Hesperion XXI will end the concert with a selection of pieces that display a variety of different styles.
With the support of the Department of Culture, Generalitat Government of Catalonia, and of the European Union Culture Programme.
