Iván Martín began his professional career with a work by Chopin, a composer who plays the major part in the programme he has chosen for his début at Torroella. The spectacular virtuoso quality of the pieces by Chopin, especially the Andante Spianato and Grande Polonaise Brillante, shares the programme with works by Father Antoni Soler, Scarlatti and Debussy.
