About this event

On their first visit to the Torroella Festival the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra will perform a delightful programme of orchestral serenades, a musical form which reached its peak of perfection with Mozart and was then taken up by composers such as Tchaikovsky and Dvokák, two of whose works in the genre we will hear today. Serenades also appear in the output of composers such as Brahms, Lalo and Elgar.
