After receiving musical training at the Conservatori Isaac Albéniz in Girona and the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona, Marta Torres is currently studying for her master's degree in Vienna, at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien, with Karl-Heinz Schutz. At the Torroella de Montgrí Fringe Festival, she presents a solo flute programme with original works and arrangements that cover four centuries of music, from the Baroque to the 21st century. Marta Torres won second prize in the wind category at the 2019 Juventudes Musicales de España Competition.
