Pecata Beata is Carola Ortiz's third album as a composer. In this new work, she has set to music a compilation of Catalan poetry by authors such as Mercè Rodoreda, Maria Mercè Marçal and Montserrat Abelló, among others. The central themes are women, their history, their imaginary, their myths and legends, and their sensuality. It is intended as a tribute and act of remembrance to the figure of women through time.
