Federico García Lorca: Canciones españolas antiguas, arrangements by Nacho Doña / Manuel de Falla: Concierto para clave y cinco instrumentos / El amor brujo, the 1915 version for chamber orchestra

The Girona-Based orchestra GIOrquestra performs at the Torroella de Montgrí Fringe Festival with a programme centred on one of the great Spanish composers of the 20th century, Manuel de Falla. This programme will include the original 1915 version for chamber orchestra of El amor brujo, with the singer and actress Mariola Membrives as soloist. Mariola Membrives will also perform five of the old songs that Federico Gracía Lorca compiled and harmonised, accompanied on the piano by Marta Puig. The programme concludes with Falla's Concierto para clave y cinco instrumentos in piano version.
