When he was 14, in 1987, Daniel Hope took part as a student in one of the International Musical Interpretation Courses organised by the Torroella de Montgrí Festival between 1984 and 2005. Today, he is one of the most outstanding violinists of his generation. As a versatile, creative musician, he now returns, more than three decades later, to make his professional debut at the Festival after a fruitful reunion last autumn during the preparation of the first part of the commemorative exhibition of the 40th anniversary of the Torroella Festival, From Church to Auditorium, as president of the Beethoven Haus in Bonn.
