Philharmonia de Praga | Jakub Hrusa, director | Isabelle Faust, violin

PROGRAMME

F. Mendelssohn: Overture of The Hebrides, op. 26 / A. Dvorák: Concerto for violin orchestra, op. 83 / L.V. Beethoven: Symphony no. 3, Heroica, op. 55

In Mozart's lifetime, many important works were given their first performance in Prague, as is the case with the overture and symphony that feature in this all-Mozart concert, given by one of the Czech Republic's most outstanding orchestras. In the "Coronation" Concerto, we will be able to hear a Turkish soloist who is considered to be one of the greatest musical finds of recent years.
