Interaction between the worlds of music and literature has been a constant feature of artistic expression over the years. The Finlandia Orchestra, conducted by Patrick Gallois (who is also an excellent flautist) will bring us a programme that well illustrates this interaction three masterworks intimately linked with literary creation or with the need for language to define that which is created in music. The concert will also feature our regular soloist, Joaquin Achúcarro, in a work brimming with the most sublime musical poetry.
