Irene Mas has studied at the Advanced Conservatoire of the Balearic Islands and the Liceu Conservatoire in Barcelona. She has won many singing competitions. In 2019 she won second prize in the Primer Palau competition and the Juventudes Musicales de España Prize. She comes to the Fringe Festival at Torroella with Marc Serra as piano accompanist. The programme will include Schubert, Wolf and Strauss lieder, mélodies françaises by Poulenc and Debussy and songs in Catalan by Eduard Toldrà.
