Drop Collective is a jazz band formed in 2016 at the Liceu Advanced Conservatoire. The band’s vibrant and festive repertory fuses jazz with Jamaican music. They came to the Torroella-L’Estartit Fringe Festival in 2017, and now return to L'Estartit to inaugurate the Jazz Nights in the Plaça de la Llevantina. The concert will include themes from their first disc, Stormin (La Panchita 2018), and arrangements of classics from different musical genres.
