GEMMA ABRIÉ QUARTET

Gemma Abrié first took the stage at the age of 16 and since that time has remained fully active. She has performed at venues throughout Catalonia and Spain, and also in France, Germany and the Netherlands. She is gifted with a strong, warm voice rich in nuances, and her style is based on Afro-American musical tradition. After her concert last December in the Plaça de l'Església, accompanied by the guitarist Josep Travé, she returns to L’Estartit in a quartet to give the last concert of this summer’s Jazz Nights.
