Jordi Savall and his group Hespèrion XXI return to the Torroella de Montgrí Festival with a programme he has called East-West: A dialogue between souls, a journey through time and space with music from the Christian, Jewish and Muslim traditions of what was formerly Hesperia, and works from medieval Italy, the Ottoman Empire, Morocco, Syria, Persia, Israel and others – a musical dialogue between cultures.
