Call for volunteers 2024

Live from inside and be part of one of the most important festivals in summer: See Jazz L'Estartit and the emerging Fringe Festival Torroella de Montgrí-L'Estartit

What are we looking for?

8 VOLUNTEERS FOR TORROELLA DE MONTGRÍ-L’ESTARTIT FRINGE FESTIVAL (July 20 and 21)
6 VOLUNTEERS FOR SEA JAZZ L’ESTARTIT (July 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28)

A sum that multiplies.The Festival is looking for people of all profiles, from 16 years old, who want to participate and are moved by or interested in music and management of cultural events.

REQUERIMENTS:

Enjoy interacting with the public
Be responsible and assume volunteer commitments
Capacity for teamwork
Empathy, joy, enthusiasm and positivism.
Confidentiality and discretion.
Time availability on festival days. Being part of the volunteer team requires different
levels of availability. We will ask for your availability when registering and prior to the assignment so that we can assign you to collaborations that adapt to your commitment.
Proficiency of Catalan and Spanish
Experience: Previous volunteering, customer service or cultural management
experience will be positively valued.
No criminal record

What will you do as a festival volunteer?

Being a volunteer allows you to participate in the execution process of our festivals, be part of cultural events of reference and experience from inside the entire process of management, communication and organization, at the same time that you can meet people with whom to share the same love for cultural events, and come into contact with top-level national and international musicians and directors.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:

Customer service - Assistance to the public and guests of the concerts. Control of
reserved seats and accreditations. Room conditioning. Support at the ticket office, carrying out document classification, information, helping the public and organizing queues.
Production - Support to the production department in aspects of logistical needs (control of the preparation of the different festival spaces, or materials for the different artists and guests, etc.)
Communication - Assist journalists and photographers. Location of banners and advertising material.
Like all volunteering, participation is a solidarity action, nonprofit and voluntary, there is no financial or material remuneration. As an added value, you will have tickets to some of the top-level concerts at your disposal, so that your stay with us is a productive training stage.
